Reusing Candle Jars
We chose Amber Glass jars as our candle vessels because they are perfect for reusing after your candle has burned down.
Cleaning Candle Jars

Put the jar in the freezer for 2-4 hours. The jar can also be left in the freezer overnight.

As soon as you remove the candle from the freezer use a fork or other prying tool to remove the wax from the jar. The wax will be hard and brittle and should be easy to remove. Once you have removed the wax it can be placed in the garbage.

You can use the same tool you used for the wax to remove the metal tab and wick sticker from the bottom of the jar. If there is any remaining adhesive, you can soak with white vinegar.

Once the wax, wick tab, and wick sticker have been removed, the jar should be cleaned out with soap and hot water either by hand or in the dishwasher.
