Hi, I’m Danielle… the fangirl behind Gather in Flame Candle Co.

It started as a fun family activity over the holidays in 2020. No plan, no business idea, just a pot on the stove and some wax. But something about the mix of cooking, baking, and straight-up chemistry hooked me almost instantly, and I couldn’t stop.

As a fellow candle-lover and lifelong fangirl myself, I’ve always been fascinated by how scent can pull you right back into a memory, or straight into a story. My Sugared Citrus candle exists because of that… the sweet fruit scent drifting through the house still takes me right back to summers at my grandparents’ citrus orchard in Arizona.

Every candle I make now starts from that same place. Our coconut wax and wooden wick candles are inspired by the books, artists, and eras that fellow fans and I can’t stop thinking about. Nothing is just named after a vibe. Every scent is developed to actually capture it, because I know what it’s like to want something that finally gets what you love instead of guessing at it.

Behind the scenes, that means a lot of testing. Every candle has to burn clean, burn long, and actually fill the room, or it doesn’t make the cut. I don’t cut corners on that part, even when it means a scent takes months longer than I’d like.

I started this as one fan making something for herself. It’s turned into something I get to share with all of you… fellow readers, fellow Swifties, fellow fans. I’m just getting started, and I can’t wait to keep making things for us. 💜
