The Slow Reading Season

There's a season for reading fast, and there's one for reading slow. Fall's the second kind.

Days get shorter, there's less to do in the evenings, and there's suddenly time to finish the book that's been sitting on the nightstand for weeks. A whole chapter instead of three pages before falling asleep. A Saturday morning that stretches out with nothing to do but drink coffee and read a story you're in no hurry to finish.

This collection exists for exactly those days. Every candle here is hand-poured in coconut wax with an FSC-certified wooden wick, the kind that crackles quietly in the background while you read. Coconut wax burns slower than soy, so these last through a whole book, not just a chapter of one.

There's a bergamot and oak moss candle for the reader who likes her cozy with a little edge to it. A pear, honey and bourbon candle for slow afternoons with nowhere to be. Cashmere, vanilla and amber for the nights that just need a lamp, a blanket, and a good book.

This is for the readers, the Swifties, and the cozy girls who take their reading rituals seriously enough to light a candle before they open a book.
