Juniper berry opens it up first, bright and a little sharp, the kind of green that only grows somewhere dry and wide open. Sage drifts in next, cool and grounding, the note that makes everything feel calmer without making it feel still. Sweetgrass settles in warm and quietly alive, the note that smells like something that actually grew there rather than something manufactured to smell like outside. Oakmoss lingers deep and earthy underneath, ancient and certain, the base that makes the whole thing feel like somewhere that's been there a long time and will be there long after you leave. Violet drifts in last, soft and a little unexpected, the one note that reminds you there's still beauty in the hard, dry places.

Hand-poured in coconut wax with an FSC-certified wooden wick, it's built to light on the evenings that need to breathe. The wood wick crackles low while it burns, like wind moving through something tall and dry. This is for the reader who finds as much restoration in a landscape as she does in a long chapter.
