When I first started making candles, I used cotton wicks. And honestly? I liked them! They were reliable and got the job done. But for years, I kept testing wooden wicks because I loved the idea of them: the cozy fireplace crackle, the wider flame, the way they just look luxurious in a candle jar.
For the longest time, though, I couldn’t get them to burn quite right with soy wax. They’d fizzle out, or the flame would be huge and out of control. It wasn’t until I switched to luxury coconut wax that everything clicked. Suddenly the wooden wicks worked beautifully, and my candles leveled up about 100 levels.
Here’s why I’ll never go back:
✨ The cozy crackle. Lighting one of my candles is like turning on a tiny fireplace in your room. The sound is so comforting and instantly sets a mood.
🌿 Cleaner burn, stronger scent. Wooden wicks don’t need as much trimming, burn evenly, and pair perfectly with coconut wax to give you a stronger scent throw (that’s how much fragrance fills your space).
🌎 Sustainability matters. All of my wicks are FSC-certified, which means they come from responsibly managed forests.
Together, coconut wax + wooden wicks create the ultimate cozy candle experience. And that’s why you’ll always find them at the heart of my collections.
